I developed The Makeup Room because I noticed the need for a beauty concierge service that would help women navigate the sea of skincare and cosmetic products that bombard them on a daily basis. With so many products on the market, all claiming to be “the best”, it’s no wonder that women are confused and confounded when it comes to choosing a skincare and makeup routine. A firm believer that makeup should be fun and not stressful, I developed The Makeup Room to take the guesswork out of shopping for cosmetics. Hand selecting an edited array of products while offering unbiased, professional advice, allows me to personalise beauty routines for each of my client’s specific needs. It is my job to help my client’s look and feel like their most fabulous self.

A stylist for your face

The UK is full of personal shoppers and stylists, but none that focus exclusively on the face (let’s face it, the most important wardrobe accessory of all)! There is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to beauty, which is why I deliver an entirely customised experience to each client. You will not be limited to the merchandise within a particular store or brand, as I prepare an edited selection of the best beauty products across multiple brands, based on your specific needs. It is my job to read up on the latest clinical trials and research (I separate the hype and exaggerated claims from actual scientific facts) and source products from all over the globe in order to keep my clients in the know.

Getting pretty, without the pressure

Women often make expensive mistakes after succumbing to pressure during shopping excursions. While cleaning out clients’ makeup drawers I often unearth piles of unused and discarded products, all purchased under undue pressure. Ladies, lets stop the madness! Most employees in department stores and small boutiques work on commission and often push the pricier items, but we will shop based on what works specifically for you, as well as your budget.
